I vote to endorse the following officers to serve on the BPA Board of Trustees (check all selections):

Position Descriptions

​

  • The President-Elect shall perform the President's duties in the absence of the President. The President-Elect shall assume the office of President as of the last day of the Black Psychiatrists of America Annual Meeting (the meeting occurring at the November Transcultural Conference) on or about two years following his or her election as President-Elect. The President-Elect shall assist the President by acting as the overall coordinator of all committee functions.

  • The Secretary shall keep a record of the proceedings of all meetings of the organizations and of the Executive Committee; keep a list of members; issue notices of all meetings; notify officers and members of committees of their election or appointment, and certify all official records.​

  • Each Regional Trustee will be a voting member of the Executive Committee. Four Trustees so elected must be General Members. They will serve for two years. Trustees during their last year in office will be known as Senior Trustees. A person concluding his or her term as Senior Trustee will not be eligible for immediate re-election.

    • South Regional Trustee Candidate: AL, AR, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN, WV, VA

    • Midwestern Regional TrusteeIL, IN, IO, KS, MI, MN, MO, OH, OK, WI

    • International Trustee: All members who reside outside of the United States (including US Territories​

  • The Member-in-Training (MIT) Trustee will serve two years and will not be eligible for immediate re-election.
